Dillon's Creek Marina in Island Heights, New Jersey, offers boatyard quality service in a yacht-club atmosphere.

Tucked away on the mainland shore of Barnegat Bay, Dillon's Creek has a pleasant yacht club feel, with cedar shake buildings that give it a New England, seaside atmosphere.  Spacious decks on the buildings and a tree shaded picnic area with tables and grills are good places for weekend gatherings and entertaining guests.

The walkways to the docks have miniature, canvas covered gazebos, ideal spots for boaters to sit in the shade, sip cool drinks and visualize their next cruise.

Shore side facilities are neat and clean.  Two large bathhouses are conveniently located at opposite ends of the marina.  It also hosts full laundry facilities.  Water, 30 amp electric, pump out services, telephone and cable television services are available.

Dillon's Creek Marina has two 20-ton, open-end travel lifts, a five ton hydraulic crane and two hydraulic boat trailers.  It offers full maintenance and repair services, from bottom painting to mast stepping.  The marina is an authorized dealer for Mercury, Yanmar, Cummins Power Systems, Westerbeke, Kohler Generators, Universal and Strong Seal.  It's service department can handle repairs on all engines along with rigging and hull repairs

Winter storage is available on land, or in the water with a bubbler system.  Full shrink wrap services are offered.

With 200 slips available, Dillon's Creek Marina is located at NOAA 12323 and 12324 or 39-56-673 N by 074-08-194 W.  To find it, go to the mouth of the Toms River, which branches off the New Jersey Intracoastal Waterway at Mile 15. Dual bridges join Seaside Heights on the barrier island to the mainland and serve as useful landmarks.  The wide entrance to the Toms River is just south of these spans.  Head due west up the  Toms River.  About a mile up the river on the north shore, just before Long Point, you'll find the mouth of Dillon's Creek.  The entrance daymarks, red triangles and green squares are tacked high up.  A sandy beach and gazebo just to the south of the entrance provide useful landmarks.  The marina is just a few yards beyond, set amongst trees and marsh grass, under the hill of Island Heights.

Dillon's maintains an active social calendar throughout the season.   "...and sometimes we throw a party."

Because of it's laid back and convivial way of life, most of Dillon's 200 slips are occupied by regulars that come back year after year.  A few rentals are sometimes available on a first-come, first-served basis.  Please call for availability.

Transients love the atmosphere, if they can squeeze in, a place where Jimmy Buffet is alive and well...
